The 12:00 meeting was held in X150.
Seven members were in attendance: Linda Crowley, Samantha Fiscella, L. Kristin Hess, Kasey Kerr, Shree Kota, Waylena McCully, and Karina Pavlova.
Tour IT, to happen Friday December 2nd, was discussed.
WCSIT Holiday Celebration will be on Wednesday, December 7th. The party will be in B129, and will be from 3:30pm until 5:30pm. Respond to the evite or call Samantha Fiscella at 351-2414 if you plan to attend. We've invited PCSCS and the CSIT faculty and staff. WCSIT members should also sign up to bring a dish for the potluck. All guests are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to a local food bank.
Wolfram Research. A group visit to Wolfram Research being planned for the morning of Friday, December 9th. Contact Samantha at 351-2414 (sfiscella@parkland.edu) if you would like to attend.
Membership. Some ideas were mentioned for increasing membership and increasing the value of the club for existing members. Karina and Samantha will be meeting with Maria next week to discuss ways to improve the club. Suggestions are welcome and highly desired! If you have ideas for improving the club, email them to Karina (kpavlova@stu.parkland.edu) or Samantha (sfiscella@parkland.edu).
Girl Scouts. We might have opportunities to work with area Girl Scout troops to assist them with some of their badges. The topic will be discussed later, after Tour IT has wrapped up.
Spring Food Sales will be March 10th and April 7th.
