WCSIT MinutesRespectfully submitted by Marlene Long, President.
The 11:00 meeting was held in X150.
Five were in attendance: Irene Tucker, Marlene Long, Ann Blackman, Keri Rumsey,
Karina Pavlova, Linda Crowley, and Carmen McCabe.
Volition tour is Friday, March 4th @ 4:00. You must stop by Ann's office to
sign the Personal Non-Disclosure Agreement before Friday in order to go.
T-shirt order forms are in Ann's office. The Club Grant money is paying for the t-shirts so all you have to do is fill out the form by Monday, March 7th. Don't forget!
We are in need of volunteers to help Carmen McCabe and Linda Crowley on the scholarship committe for WCSIT. Please contact Carmen at cmccabe2@stu.parkland.edu.
We discussed the possibility of food sales on Tuesday after Spring Break March 29th so if you would be interested please let me know asap. Also any ideas for something different to sale besides Pizza!
This Saturday March 5th the Gamemaker teams will be meeting from 11-2 in B113. We are getting down to the wire and it looks like everyone is doing very well. Good luck to all in the competition!
The IOC meeting has been rescheduled until Thursday March 10th due to Parkland's Professional Development Day. No day classes on Thursday! The meeting will be held in C-123 if anyone is interested in attending.
IOC is having its annual Recognition Banquet night April 28th. Location and time to be announced later. Everyone is welcome to attend so keep your calendars open.
St. Patty Day is March 17th and we have arranged to have the college center display case for March 14th thru March 19th. Anyone interested in helping put it together should show up Monday morning around 10:00. Carmen and myself will be there. Thanks to Irene for the decorations for the case!
Keri Rumsey has some information on the Avon Breast Cancer Walk that she would like to share will club members. She is trying to raise enough money to walk in the event and she needs our help. Please contact Keri at krumsey@stu.parkland.edu for more information.
All committees for Website Design and Scholarships will be formed by March 2nd so please do volunteer to help the other girls. I realize we are all busy but we need your help in order to achieve our goals. Meeting times can be arranged with the committee Chairs - Kasey Kerr - Website Committee - kkerr@parkland.edu, and Carmen McCabe at cmccabe2@stu.parkland.edu.
